Almost crawling

Almost crawling

I've been doing push-ups (lifting up onto all fours) for a couple weeks, but I never really went anywhere. Then a few days ago I realized I could go from sitting, to all fours, then I could reach out. This really helps a lot when I'm trying to grab something I can't quite reach while sitting down (despite my impressive sit-and-reach flexibility).

Reach

I've also been pulling up onto my knees lately. Pretty soon I'm going to be so mobile Mom & Dad won't know what to do with me.

St. Louis

I've been to another new place: St. Louis. We visited last weekend. I had so much fun, I can't wait to visit again someday.

Parades and swimming pools

My first Independence Day holiday was quite eventful. First I watched Dad suffer through a brutally hot 5K race.

Are we having fun yet?

After the race, we all loaded up onto the bike and rode in the parade.

Then came the best part. I got a new swimming pool and I got to use it for the first time when we got home.
